Launceston Orthotic and Prosthetic Services is organising a social get together in Penguin on Saturday, 26th March 2022
This is an opportunity for people with limb loss to meet new friends and gain support from those recovered from or supporting amputees.
The afternoon gathering starts at 2:30 PM and will feature two speakers, well qualified to talk about recovery and how to gain a new level of participation after this life disruption.
Guests include
- Motivational speaker – Dominic Monypenny – Paralympian Rower and Nordic skier
and
- Christine Bergman – Participant in the National Women’s Eight Ball team for Tasmania.
Christine will provide an exhibition of the game
Food, drinks, and afternoon tea will be provided
